It's hard not having a car in NYC.
Jeff and I have been dying to drive out and do something, but any train trip requires at least an hour and hotels cost $100+ a night. So, we've decided if we are going to go out, we are going to make it count.
Daycation.
It was our first time to Coney Island. We did everything you are suppose to on a first trip; eat a hot dog and ride the Wonder Wheel... and get third degree burns on our feet.
I'm sad we only have the option right now to only go out for a day, but summer has only begun and we have plenty more daycations ahead! I'll just be counting down to our real vacation/honeymoon in Japan. (Which, by the way.. Less than 3 months we get married. I have so much to do. Panic.)
